Choose Your Ideal Bristle Pad
At Rock & Ruddle, our hairbrushes and combs combine beautiful designs with brilliant performance.
Our natural boar bristles are the secret to silky, glossy hair. Because their structure mimics your own hair, they gently glide through, spreading your scalp’s natural oils from root to tip for that healthy, just-left-the-salon glow.
Our guide below will help you choose the best bristle pad for each hair type. Please also see our FAQs about bristles below.
🌟 Mixed Bristles:
Our Mixed Bristle pad (natural boar combined with nylon tips) is our best seller! Perfect for normal to thick hair that can tangle. The brushing is pain free which is ideal for children and adults alike.
The nylon tips detangle like a dream, while the natural bristles condition and boost shine. Idea: brushing your scalp before shampooing helps lift away dry skin, so it washes away instead creating flakes.
🌟 Pure Bristles: 100% natural — ideal for fine, short, or delicate hair.
🌟 Synthetic Bristles: A brilliant vegan alternative perfect for detangling and everyday styling.
🌟 Baby Bristles: Feather-soft for little ones or sensitive scalps.
🌼 Smart, sustainable bristle pad design:
Every Rock & Ruddle brush has a removable bristle pad so you can keep yours spotless with easy care and even replace just the pad (not the whole brush) after years of love.
